Acupuncture - Paying With Health Insurance
We ask all new acupuncture patients to use instructions in our new patient form to call your provider to gather all kinds of details about your plan and coverage, including our status as an in-network or out-of-network provider.   Regardless of network status and the general details they provide, we will ask you to pay for your visits at time of service.  For Out of Network folks you will be provided with a "Super Bill", which is just a fancy name for a receipt that you can use for insurance credit/reimbursement.  For In-Network folks, we will continue to charge you at time of service  until we get our first Explanation of Benefits back that clearly outlines reimbursement rates and current deductible amounts.  For those that pay us who we then get reimbursed for from your carrier, a check will be written back to you for fees you paid as appropriate.
  • $165 (was 160)  - New Patient Visit including 1 treatment
  • $82 (was 75) / treatment
  • $97 (was 90 )/ treatment for electric acupuncture
The rates above are the actual rates that will be billed to your insurance company.   In network providers may require we discount these some, but please assume this is your full responsibility until your EOB states otherwise.

Detailed information related to Health Insurance and Health Insurance Claims Processing can be found on the "More" menu.
Note:
This is new pricing as of 6/1/2022. Pricing was increased by 10-15%.
The prior price increase was as of 10/1/2017. Pricing was increased then by $10/visit
