Acupuncture is an excellent supplement/alternative treatment for many Personal Injury cases.

• Referral - A referral is required from the Primary Care Physician for Personal Injury cases. 
• Number of Treatments -- Typically, referrals authorize 6 visits at a time.  This is just an informal industry standard.  In many situations, it seems that two sets of 6 treatments often gets the patient to a point of sustained benefit.  Sometimes it happens after one set of 6 treatments and sometimes after 3 sets of 6 treatments.  If sustained wellness is not achieved after 2 to 3 sets of 6 treatments, other methods of treatment should be sought to supplement or replace the attempt with Acupuncture.
